Job Title: Accountant
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in Surat, Gujarat. This full-time position offers an opportunity for individuals with 1-5 years of experience in accounting to contribute to our financial operations while working in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare and file GST returns, Income Tax, and TDS statements
- Assist in the preparation of Balance Sheets and financial statements
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiency
- Provide analytical support for financial reporting and budgeting
Requirements
- Graduate in Commerce or related field
- 1-5 years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and Balance Sheet preparation
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Male candidates preferred
