Job Title: Accountant
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in Surat, Gujarat. This part-time position is a great opportunity for recent graduates to kick-start their careers in finance and accounting while working in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and file GST returns, Income Tax, and TDS statements.
- Assist in the preparation of Balance Sheets and financial statements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in Tally and other accounting software.
- Basic knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and auditing processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior experience is not mandatory.
