Job Description
We are hiring an Accountant for the Construction Industry to manage day-to-day accounting activities related to civil and infrastructure projects in Jhalawar. The role involves handling site accounts, contractor billing, GST compliance, and financial reporting.
This position is suitable for candidates with experience in construction, real estate, or infrastructure accounting.
Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts for construction projects
Handle contractor and vendor billing
Manage purchase, sales, and expense entries
Prepare and reconcile site-wise accounts
Handle GST returns, TDS, and statutory compliance
Track project costs, budgets, and expenses
Process vendor payments and maintain payment schedules
Coordinate with site engineers for bills and measurements
Assist in audits and financial reporting
Supervise daily site work and monitor progress as per drawings
Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and vendors
Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
Maintain site records, measurements, and daily progress reports
Support senior engineers in planning and execution
Verify materials and workmanship as per specifications
Report issues, delays, or safety concerns to the project teamSales at Office

Requirements
Experience in construction or project-based accounting preferred
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
Ability to manage site-wise and project-wise accounts
Familiarity with contractor bills and BOQ-based billing
